  My husband and I have been going to Southeastern Dermatology for many years. I recently had a sudden odd growth on my neck and scheduled an appointment with Brandon, one of the PAs. I was scheduled within a week. He biopsied the odd growth on my neck and another suspicious area on my back. Within a week I received the results of my biopsies. I was then quickly scheduled for a MOHS procedure for the first, which turned out to be a squamous cell skin cancer and the excision of the mole on my back which had moderate dysplagia. Both Brandon and Chris (the other PA who did the MOHS procedure) were friendly, took their time, and answered all my questions. Mysty, their medical assistant was wonderful as well. Dr. Ford came in during the initial biopsy and during the removal. He apologized for the wait time for the "clear margin" results to come back from the laboratory, but they were being thorough. That was fine with me as it meant they only had to cut once. The hardest part was waiting the two weeks to get the stitches removed, but they can't make my skin heal any faster. I gave up a long time ago expecting a doctor's visit to go quickly. If you begin with the premise that you will have to wait an hour to be called back, then you can be pleasantly surprised when it's only twenty minutes. I'm sure I spent some time in the waiting room, but not any more and maybe less than I do in any other waiting room. It's just the nature of the beast. I load my phone with podcasts and then I can be assured that they will call me as soon as it gets interesting. :)

  I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Southeastern Dermatology. The other comments about wait time are very surprising to me as I have never had any lengthy wait times at their office and because of my fair skin I go quite often. I've found the PA's and nurses treat me like family and remember me each time I come. My son, my parents and quite a few of my co-workers also go here and have all been pleased and continue to go back. I highly recommend them.
